It's that time of year (fingers crossed) that I dig out our closets and switch from warm weather clothes to Spring and Summer gear. It is also that time of year where our semi-finished basement begins to give the damp earth aroma that comes with the wet weather and thawing temperatures. I do have a big dehumidifier that helps keep the dampness at bay, but when I get home from work the first thing I notice coming up to greet me is the damp scent wandering up to the front entry.

I tried a new Lampe Berger fragrance, Radiant Bergamot, and have been lighting it almost every night for the last week. With just 20-30 minutes of use each time, I love the fresh citrus top-notes and the undertones of jasmine and orange blossom. We have been greeted with a noticeable change in the basement scent. The unique catalytic stone+wick destroys bad odours while filling your room and home with scent.

Verdict: I give this new fragrance two thumbs up. It is my new favourite scent and I can get away with burning it while my hubby is home since it isn't too flowery. I have noticed a big difference in my damp basement smell since using this product.
