Back We Go: I Can Cry If I Want To @SearsCA #SearsBabysRoom #Sponsor

In a blink our girl has grown up and will be starting school in September. Originally she was enrolled in a school that required uniforms, but that plan fell through and now she's off to public school. I am not fashion challenged but since I often leave for work very early in the morning, someone else is dressing my girl for the day. This someone is usually daddy and he would have appreciated the ease of relying on uniforms to get her ready for school each morning. I have a plan on how to deal with the outfits and lunches, and have even charted these ideas to help him out. I didn't want to buy too much clothing until after her Labour Day weekend birthday bash. I know that family members have a tendency to get lots of clothes for our Princess. My shopping goal this past weekend was to get her set up with a few basic pieces to help make at least 3 outfits, along with purchasing her indoor and outdoor shoes. We embarked on a rare family shopping experience at our local SEARS CANADA store to see how far our $100 budget would stretch.
Sears is THE back-to-school shopping destination! From affordable brand names and price match guarantee to their Kidvantage Lifetime Wearout Warranty (offered on all kids apparel and footwear with a receipt, as long as a child in the family is wearing it!) – they understand what families really need!

School gear was centrally placed between the Children's/Baby's Department
and the escalator at my local SEARS. Plus backpacks were on sale for 30% off.
Shoes were on my list of must-have items on this trip to SEARS.
My girl found these pink plaid flats to match her favourite purse.
We snagged them for $5 with the 40% off red tag sale.
Now that she picked her shoes, the first day outfit was next on
her list. This was one of the many cute two piece sets available.
I spent $70 courtesy of SEARS CANADA and these are the
great brand name items we got. Since ALL the summer clothing was
on sale (plus more discounts applied at checkout)
I chose short sleeve shirts that could be layered with warm sweaters.
This was the outfit Princess asked to try on for a pose.
She is ready for the first day of school thanks to the great
deals on quality brands we found at SEARS CANADA.
Even scoring great deals couldn't keep me from getting a little teary eyed at the whole school shopping experience.  My girl is going to be super cute on her first day and the SEARS guarantee will back up the value of the clothes if she wears them out before outgrowing them.
