Pillsbury Chocolatey Crescents with Ice Cream {Review + Recipe} #LMDConnector

A new product has revived my love of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.  This puffed pastry has been used in many of my inspired recipes over the years, and tastes great fresh from the oven too.  I'm happy to introduce the new sweeter version.  Retailing for about $3, Pillsbury Chocolatey Crescents are simple to make and inspired my sweet tooth.  Since I was too busy to make my hubby's birthday cake last week, and we're moving so my mixer was already at the new house, this chocolate treat saved me.  Of course I had to sample the chocolate before starting the prep.  It reminded me of an ice cream sundae, so the Chocolatey Crescents were served up warm on ice cream, my family (birthday boy included) gave two thumbs up!

Unroll the cold (never frozen) pastry from the tube,
warm the chocolate packet in your hands,
snip the corner and drizzle over each triangle .

I sprinkled some SKOR bits before rolling and baking.

Drizzle the crescents with remaining chocolate (I nearly ate the entire packet while
waiting for them to bake).

Of course I had to sample the chocolate before starting the prep.  It reminded me of an ice cream sundae, so the Chocolatey Crescents were served up warm on ice cream,
my family (birthday boy included) gave two thumbs up!
Soon I will use the Chocolate Crescent kit
to make my dessert pizza and post more pics to update in a couple weeks.
